One of the most talented emerging designers of her generation with a mind that belonged somewhere between the Earth and Sky.

After 29 years of life, her creative and innocent mind freed itself from it's Earthly confines suddenly on Jul. 31, due to a massive pulmonary embolism while in a hospital in Korea, where she was visiting to work on production for her next, highly anticipated collection. Alexandra, unknowingly, worked through a misdiagnosed heart condition. She, unknowingly, worked herself to death. Her next collection was scheduled to be the headline presentation at Styleweek Northeast. She is survived in death by her loving parents, Hong Gil Nam (a National honor scientist of Korea) and Yeong Hee Park, her sisters, her older one Hyun Ryung and he younger one, Hyun Suh and her loving and devoted guardian, Anthony Compian Lopez.
